    Great Cooker, But….
    Having owned a PBC I can attest that this drum is definitely worth the extra money. Coming from a custom fabrication background I toyed with the idea of just building a drum myself. Time being my deciding factor, I chose to buy the Gateway Drum. I’m 100% satisfied with the build quality of the drum and it cooks exactly as expected.

    My “but” is it should be a package that comes with the hanging rack, diffuser and a second grate. It’s frustrating to get your product you paid a premium price for and immediately realize you don’t have everything you need. I would’ve paid more to not have to buy accessories the next day.

    Bottom line, this is a badass cooker and you should buy one. Or two!

    Hands Down the best Drum out there....
    I have been using Gateway Drums since May of this year. Got my first one at the middle/end of May and now have a second one. The quality and workmanship is great. I have now competed in my first competition and took 1st over all ribs and I was amazed by how well these work. I will be a Gateway Drum user for life here, it will be all I use competing and almost exclusively at home. By this time next year I will have a total of 4 of these. #InsaneCanPosse for life.

    Excellent Pit...
    Just picked it up and ran it for 27 hours straight....only filled it twice and it was blowing above 40 mph with gust to 65, ambient temp was 25F...impressed with the burn time, easy to set and hold temperature and quality of the cook....
