An ingenious way to use a smoker to satisfy your sweet tooth by Brick Head BBQ!
Ingredients
- 
36 Hershey’s Kisses Milk Chocolate 
- 
½ cup Shortening 
- 
¾ cup Creamy Peanut Butter 
- 
⅓ cup Packed Light Brown Sugar 
- 
⅓ cup Granulated Sugar 
- 
1 Egg 
- 
2 tbsp. Whole Milk 
- 
1 tsp. Vanilla Extract 
- 
1 ½ cup All-Purpose Flour 
- 
1 tsp. Baking Soda 
- 
½ tsp. Salt 
Directions
- Get your Gateway Drum up to 375ºF, but do not put any wood in the fire box. 
- Beat shortening and peanut butter in a large bowl. 
- Add the granulated and brown sugar; beat until fluffy, then add in the egg, milk, and vanilla; beat well. 
- In a separate bowl stir together the flour, baking soda, and salt and gradually beat into your mixture. 
- Shape the dough into 1 inch balls, roll each in a bowl of sugar and place on a greased cookie sheet. 
- Put the sheet on the top rack of your Gateway for 8-10 minutes, and if they are not cooking evenly rotate the pan and cook for 11-13 minutes. 
- Once golden brown remove from the drum, place a Hershey’s Kiss in the center of each cookie and place them on a cooling rack.
