Celebrate Father's Day with this MEGA meatball sandwich packed with flavor!
Ingredients
- 
2 lb. Ground Pork (We choose Marble Ridge Farms!) 
- 
2 lb. Ground Wagyu Beef (We choose Marble Ridge Farms!) 
- 
1 cup Yellow Onion, Finely Diced 
- 
1 tbsp. Garlic, Chopped 
- 
2 Eggs 
- 
1 cup Grated Parmesan 
- 
1 cup Bread Crumbs 
- 
                
¼ cup Blues Hog Bold & Beefy Seasoning 
- 
                
¼ cup Blues Hog Sweet & Savory Seasoning 
- 
                
1 cup Blues Hog Smokey Mountain BBQ Sauce 
- 
12” Sub Sandwich Bread 
- 
Grated Provel 
- 
Bacon (We choose Blues Hog Sizzle!) 
- 
                
¼ cup Blues Hog Truffle & Chop Seasoning 
- 
                
1 cup Blues Hog Raspberry Chipotle BBQ Sauce 
- 
                
Blues Hog High Flyin’ Chicken Seasoning (for bread) 
Directions
- Preheat your Gateway Drum to 250℉. 
- Fully cook the Sizzle Bacon and chop into small pieces. 
- Place pork and beef in a bowl with bacon, chopped onion, parmesan cheese, chopped garlic, 2 eggs, Truffle & Chop Seasoning, and bread crumbs. Combine until well mixed. 
- Form into large meatballs (2oz each). 
- Spray wire rack with cooking spray and place the meatballs on the rack. Dust with Bold & Beefy Seasoning and Sweet & Savory Seasoning. Wrap edges with foil. 
- Cook until they reach an internal temperature of 165ºF (35-40 minutes). Top with Smokey Mountain BBQ Sauce and Raspberry Chipotle BBQ Sauce and let sit for 3 more minutes. 
- Cut your sub bread and coat in melted butter and High Flyin' Chicken Seasoning. Place on the Gateway or flat top until crisp. 
- Cover sub bread with provel cheese and place back on the Gateway or flat top until melted. Remove meatballs from heat and place on bread until covered.
