Ingredients
-
1 Loaf Cuban (or French) Bread
-
8 oz. Sliced Ham (We choose Marble Ridge Farms!)
-
6 oz. Pulled Pork (We choose Blues Hog!)
-
6 oz. Slices Swiss Cheese
-

4 tbsp. Blues Hog Honey Mustard
-
2 tbsp. Butter
-
Dill Pickles (optional)
-

Blues Hog Premium Natural Lump Charcoal
Directions
- Cut your bread into 8-10 inch pieces, then cut these pieces in half lengthwise.
- Slather the halves with Blues Hog Honey Mustard.
- Pile the cheese, pulled pork, ham and pickles onto the bottom half and place the top half of the bread to make your sandwich.
- Heat your Gateway Drum to 375ºF with some Lump Charcoal, lay some butter down on the cast iron skillet and plop your sandwich down.
- Carefully place a heavy pan or brick on top of the sandwich and press down panini style.
- Leave the weight there and cook for 4-5 minutes or until the bottom is golden brown.
- Grease a different section of your pan and gently flip your sandwich, replace the weight, and cook for an additional 4-5 minutes. Your cheese should be melted and the bread should be golden brown and crunchy.
- Slice your sandwich in half with a heavy, sharp knife and chow down!
